Hope Stabbing Fatality Friday Night

HOPE – From a press release from Kim Tomlin, Assistant Chief of the Hope Police Department on April 17th:

“On April 15, 2017, at approximately 11:50pm, officers of the Hope Police Department responded to the 200 block of North Pritchard Street in Hope, in reference to a report of a male subject being stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located a Hispanic male, later identified as Jamie Dominguez, 29, of Hope, laying in the street. Officers observed that Dominguez appeared to have multiple stab wounds to his body. Pafford EMS arrived on scene and transported Dominguez to St. Michael’s hospital in Texarkana for his injuries. Dominguez was pronounced dead at St. Michael’s hospital a short time later.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone having any information about this incident is asked to contact Detective Jesus Coronado at the Hope Police Department at 870-722-2561.”image
