March 29th Soup And Sermon

HOPE – The Hope/Hempstead County Ministerial Alliance’s “Soup and Sermon” series brought out another good crowd to the Parrish Hall of Our Good Lady of Hope Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 29th.

There was a varied representation of denominations and churches represented, including Methodist, Baptist, Assembly of God, Latter Day Saints, Presbyterian and Catholic.

The soup was prepared and served by St. John United Methodist Church. The message was brought by their minister Danny Dunlap.

The next Soup and Sermon will be on April 5th, and the message will be brought by Bishop Johnnie L. Jones of the Providence Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church. The public is invited. Soup and Sermon begins at 11:45am and will conclude in time for everyone to get back to work by 1:00pm. It is held in the Parrish Hall of the Our Good Lady of Hope Catholic Church at Third and Walker Streets.
