Special athletes compete in Special Olympics

HOPE – The smiles were as bright as the Spring sunshine as athletes from Hope and the surrounding area competed in the annual Area 11 Special Olympics Games at Hope High School. Athletes competed in a variety of track events complimented by field events such as long jump and tennis ball throw. Several of the ROC athletes qualified for the State Special Olympic Games and will travel to Searcy for the competition beginning May 26.
