Arkansas State Archives Announces Third Pen To Podium Lecture

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas State Archives, in conjunction with its sister agency Historic Arkansas Museum, is hosting the third in a series of lectures in 2017, Department of Arkansas Heritage Director Stacy Hurst announced today.

The lecture, which is part of the Pen to Podium: Arkansas Historical Writers’ Lecture Series, will be held from 7 – 8 p.m. on Tues., June 20, at Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock. The lecture will feature Brooks Blevins, who will speak about “Back Yonder: An Ozark Chronicle” by Charles Wayman Hogue.

Before the lecture, a reception sponsored by the Friends of the Arkansas State Archives will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium of the museum.

The lecture is free but registration is required. Registration is limited and deadline for registration will be Fri., June 16.
