Carmen Caudle

IMG_2035Mrs. Carmen Caudle, age 83 of Bodcaw, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Hope, Arkansas at a local nursing home. Mrs. Caudle was born in Taylor, Arkansas on October 21, 1933 to Yancy and Idelle Olive Norwood Norman. She is a member of Bodcaw Baptist Church, where she had served as the church pianist for 50 years and also had been the pianist at the First Baptist Church in Taylor. She is a retired US Postal Mail Carrier, with 17 years of employment. Her hobbies included bird watching, working in her flower beds and spending time, holding her grandchildren. She also, was a very good cook, it was said she could make a very good Pot Roast. Mrs. Caudle is preceded in death by her parents; Yancy and Idelle Olive Norman, three sisters; Dorothy McCoy, Velma Crain and Kathryn Bancroft.

 

Survivors include her husband, of 63 years of marriage, Bobby Caudle of Bodcaw, her son; Robert Caudle, wife, Stephanie of Eagle River, Alaska, two daughters; Sarah Moss, her husband, Mickey of Rowlett, TX, and Melissa Wallace, husband, Allyn of Conway, AR, a sister; Carol Eason of Benton, AR and fifteen grandchildren, other family members and friends.

 

Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.

 

Funeral service, 2:00pm, Friday, June 2, 2017 at Bodcaw Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Evans and Bro. Ed Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Bodcaw.
