SIGNING 005PRESCOTT – Nikaylen Morrison signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Central Baptist College Monday afternoon in the lobby of the Prescott Sports Arena.

Prescott High School Principal Missy Walley told those gathered Morrison is the seventh senior to sign a letter of intent to play college athletics. She said this is 10 percent of the senior class. She reminded him no matter where he goes or what he does, he’ll always be a Curley Wolf.

Coach Dennis Pruitt also spoke, saying Morrison did some miraculous things on the field. He pointed Morrison’s grandfather, Dennis Johnson, out, saying he played football against Johnson when the two were in high school. Pruitt played for the Wolves while Johnson played for the Hope Bobcats. Johnson also played for the Razorbacks and later played for the former Houston Oilers.
