Mrs. Dorothy Trucks

IMG_1701Mrs. Dorothy L. Trucks, age 87 of Perrytown, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Trucks was born August 28, 1929 to Lewis and Ophia Lesley Welch.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Prescott, Dorothy enjoyed working in her garden and canning the vegetables she grew in her garden.  She was a great care-giver to those that were in need and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; Lewis and Ophia Welch, her husband of 63 years, Leyon Trucks, her three sons; Donald Wayne, Leyon Benjamin and Bennie Eugene Trucks, two brothers; Louis Jr. Welch and Bruce Edward Welch, two sisters; Grace Helen Stevenson and Cecelia Welch.

Mrs. Trucks is survived by two daughters; Brenda Morgan, her husband, Milton of Hosston, Louisiana and Leigh Craven of Jacksonville, Arkansas, a brother; John Welch of Hosston, Louisiana, a sister; Mary Smith, husband, Willie of Hope, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St.  Hope, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Welch and Bro. Daniel Morales officiating.
