Mr. Woodrow “Skip” Rhodes Jr.

Mr. Woodrow “Skip” Rhodes Jr. 71, of Blevins, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. Skip was born February 24, 1946 to Woodrow “Peck” Sr. and Olice Smith Rhodes in Nashville, Arkansas.

He retired from Bruner Ivory Handle Mill where he worked as a Millright. Skip was a child of God who was well respected by his children and grandchildren, foremost, and also by relatives and friends.

Mr. Rhodes was preceded in death by his father Peck Rhodes.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife Jean Rhodes of Blevins, Arkansas; two sons, David and Renee Rhodes of Centerton, Arkansas, Jimmy and Lisa Rhodes of McCaskill, Arkansas; one daughter, Cyndi and Bruce Graham of Blevins, Arkansas; mother, Olice Rhodes of Blevins, Arkansas; one brother, Larry and Nina Rhodes of Blevins, Arkansas; two sisters, Carolyn Tucker of Blevins, Arkansas and Brenda and Joe Lane also of Blevins, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Joshua, Lindsey, Hannah, Emily and Jonah; one great grandchild, Jordan.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Herndon Pharr Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins, Arkansas at 10:00am with Bro. Lee Little Sr. and Bro, Lee Little Jr. officiating under the direction of Herndon Pharr Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Marlbrook Cemetery.
