Laurel Brook Health and Rehab Celebrates CNA Week

HOPE- Laurel Brook Health and Rehab nursing facility in Hope celebrated National Certified Nurses Aide(CNA) week June 15-22, 2017. The observance was kicked off with a balloon launch, fun games hosted by Yolanda Walker, and door prizes were given away. The weeks activities were planned in honor of their CNA’s, free popcorn, pizza, ice cream, a freshly prepared pancake and bacon breakfast, along with freshly baked cookies. Throughout the week there were themes of Twinkie day, purple Day, crazy hair and sock day, casual day, and camo day. Numerous prizes were won during the week including gas cards, gift cards to Walmart, restaurant cards, spa baskets, candles, and more. On Friday a huge potluck was held and the grand prize drawing winner was Stephanie Stevens, Restorative CNA. She carried home a brand new 32” Smart TV. Laurel Brook Health and Rehab is very proud of their CNA’s who work very hard to deliver competent and compassionate care for our residents.
