Mrs. Barbara Buchholzer, 79, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away, July 14, 2017 in Tyler Texas. She was born June 28, 1938 to Frank and Pearl Millett in Dayton, Ohio. She grew up in Ohio and met her husband Tom Buchholzer as a teen, at her Lutheran church! They were married on her eighteenth birthday!

With three young daughters in tow, the Buchholzer’s lived in several places across the country until settling in Hope, Arkansas in 1972. Hope quickly became home, and Barbara was very proud to tell friends about her home town. When she wasn’t cooking hamburgers for the Hope Band Boosters, she could be found behind the grill at the Dairy Diner, the family business, and later, as an antique dealer specializing in historical books and magazines. She was always quick with a smile, and ready to lend a hand. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends as someone fiercely dedicated to her family, and a collector of memories and history. She was a member of Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church of Hope.

Mrs. Buchholzer was preceded in death by her parents Frank Millett and Pearl Talbee; three brothers Frank JR, Jack and Paul Millett; and her mother and father in law, Alora and Mike Buchholzer.
