Senator Boozman Visits Prescott Veteran

HOPE – U.S. Senator John Boozman poses with Delbert DuCharme of Prescott and his daughter after visiting with DuCharme Thursday July 6th in Prescott.

The Senator had heard of DuCharme’s military service in World War II, Korea, and Viet Nam. Mr. DuCharme was born on a Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota and volunteered for service in World War II. He later was a Navy Demolition Diver and Navy Seal. The Senator looked at pictures from DuCharme’s military service and spent over an hour visiting with him.
