Cynthia Ann McDonell Barr

Cynthia Ann McDonell Barr, 71, went home to be with the Lord at her home Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

 

Cynthia was born in Ft. Worth, TX, on July 21, 1946, to Donald Archibald and Sunshine Virginia Hunter McDonell.

She was a retired Home Health Care Aide with the Department of Health and was a long-time member of Hinton Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Thomas Arlie White, one brother Angus McDonell, one granddaughter Avery Barr, and one great grandson Jax Barr.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years Thomas Jefferson Barr, Jr.; two sons: Donald (Wendy) Barr of Mountain Home, AR and David (Susan) Barr of Rosston; one daughter Debra Barr of Rosston; seven grandchildren: Mikayla Barr, Alex Barr, Magen Elmer, Kandace Barr, Noah Barr, Zachary Barr, and Garrett Barr; two great grandchildren: Presley and Rylan Barr; one sister Dian Price of Ft. Worth, TX.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Herndon Pharr Funeral Home of Hope with Rev. Gary Riley and Rev. Lincoln Combs officiating, under the direction of Herndon Pharr Funeral Home.
