Hurricane Harvey

HOPE- The victims of Hurricane Harvey that hit Houston, Texas on Friday, August 25 are in need of supplies. The items that are needed are water, canned foods (with a pop open lid), diapers, baby formula, hygeine produts, toiletries, pet foods, cleaning supplies, and much more that are listed in the image above.

If you have shoes that you would like to donate. Please contact Daulton Brewer or drop the shoes off at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church located at 1 Genesis Drive, next to Walmart.  

Supplies can be taken to the Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce located at 101 West 2nd street in downtown Hope, the deadline is Friday at 6:00pm after that the supplies can be taken to the First Baptist Church of Hope at their drop off center at 315 South Main Street. Other locations that are accepting donations are Pettit Machinery and Super 1 Foods. For those donating at Super 1 please contact Jose Alvarez at 903-277-7520.
