Mrs. Nora Jones

Mrs. Nora Jones, age 78 of Maud, Texas passed away, Monday, August 14, 2017 in St. Michael’s Hospital, Texarkana, Texas. She was born July 22, 1939 to Adele Breaux and Henry LaJaunie. She was a House wife, Mother and member of Moss Spring Baptist Church in New Boston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers: Myrtle, Nolan, Easton, Paul, Huey LaJaunie and Pat, Lionel and Harold LeBlanc.

 

She is survived by: Her husband Ronald E. Jones, Maud, TX; Three Sons: Kevin Clark Jones and wife Kimberly, Redwater, TX.

Ronald Earl Jones II and Heather Sloan Jones, Fayetteville, AR

One Brother: Russell LaJaunie, Plano, TX

One Sister, Jacquelyn Aucoin and

Nine Grandchildren: Kailee Jones, Kadin Jones, Colin Jones, Sloan Jones, Jacob Jones, Joshua Jones, Kristen Jones, Joseph Jones, Jordan Jones.

Two Great-Grandchildren: Emma Jones and Ella Jones.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jones will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home, Hope, AR. Burial to follow in Snell Cemetery, Emmet, AR.

Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, prior to the service and until service time, at Brazzel/Oakcrest.
