Donita Salisbury

Donita Nivens Salisbury, 83, of Hope, passed from this life, September 4, 2017

in Texarkana, TX.

Mrs. Salisbury was born October 18, 1933, the oldest of fourteen children

born to Ruff and Lillie Belle Loe Nivens.

Mrs. Salisbury was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles R. Salisbury,

daughter Donna Salisbury; two sisters Linda Ann Hill and Nina Beth

Thompson; six brothers: Carroll Nivens, Lyle Nivens, Wayne Nivens, Keith

Nivens, James Nivens and John Nivens; one niece and two nephews.

Survivors include, three sons: Michael (Kathy) Salisbury of Blevins, Sharon Salisbury Williams, David (Linda) Salisbury, and Chris (Emily) Salisbury all of Hope; five grandsons:

Kiley (Lana) Williams of Lumberton, TX, Charley (Nicole) Williams of Camden, AR,

Geoff (Brandy) Salisbury of Nash, TX, Mark (Meagan) Morgan of Genoa, AR,

Justin (Gabby) McCauley of Hope, AR, three granddaughters: Dawn (Jeff) McLain,

Emerald (Michael) Williamson, Megan (Edmond) Lambeth, eighteen great

grandchildren, two sisters Nelle (Marlin) Gibson, Alita (Carl) Sams, three brothers:

Kenneth (Sandra) Nivens, Leon (Nelda) Nivens and Harold Nivens all of Prescott,

fifteen nieces, thirteen nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at

Herndon Pharr Funeral Home in Hope, AR.  Graveside services are

2:00 pm, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Sweet Home Cemetery, Blevins, AR

with Leslie Salisbury officiating under the direction of  

Herndon Pharr Funeral Home of Hope.
