White arrested for drugs, no license

On Friday, December 1, at approximately 11:26 p.m., K9 Deputy Jeremy Hendrix conducted a traffic stop on a silver four-door car with an improper registration.

Hendrix made contact with the driver and advised her of the reason of stop. When asked for her driver’s license and insurance, The driver stated she did not have a valid license, only an identification card.

While conducting a check of the drivers information, Lt. Alex Gamble of the Prescott Police Department arrived on scene to assist. Police dispatch confirmed that White did not have a valid license.

K9 Officer Max was deployed to conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle, in which he alerted to the driver door. Max was then used to conduct an interior sniff, in which he alerted to the radio area of the vehicle. Upon conducting a probable cause search of the vehicle, a POM POM cigar package was located on the dash. Inside of the package was a small clear baggie containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

The driver Tyneisha White from Hope was placed under arrest on the offenses of driving without a license, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
