Curley WolvesPRESCOTT – Four Curley Wolves signed national letters of intent to ply their athletic skills in college Wednesday morning.

The four, Derrick Thompson, Ka’Darius Pearson, Thomas Muldrew and Hank Crain, gathered in the lobby at Prescott High School with their friends and family to sign the letters. All four will be going to different schools. Three will be playing football, while one, Crain, accepted a golf scholarship. While PHS athletes signing letters of intent to play college sports isn’t anything new, what made today’s different is Muldrew inked his letter to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks, a rarity at best for the Wolves. Thompson signed to play at Southern Nazarene University where he will be a Thundercat. Pearson inked with Henderson State University, while Crain signed on as a Tiger with East Texas Baptist University.

Coach Tommy Poole kept the event short and sweet, lauding the athletes for moving to the next level.
