Mr. Gerald Sisson

Mr. Gerald Sisson, age 68 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas.  Mr. Sisson was born in Hope, Arkansas on September 3, 1948 to Wilbur Earl and Hattie Hunter Sisson.  He was employed with the City of Hope, working in Animal Control.  Gerald was of the Christian Faith, and a US Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.  Gerald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and a true friend to his friends and family members. His favorite hobby was fishing.  Gerald is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Harold Sisson and Harley Sisson and a grand-daughter; Emma Grace Bittle.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sarah Brown Sisson of Hope, a son; Edward Thomas Sisson and fiancé, Kay Bean of Sulphur Springs, Texas, two daughters; Andria Sisson Bittle, husband, Todd of Bentonville, AR, and Regina Sisson Sanders, husband, Gregory of Conway, AR, a brother; Charles Sisson of Hope, ten grandchildren: Shelby, Ryder, Molly, Spencer, Hattie, Miles, Nathaniel, Johnathan, Zane and Kamryn and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope.

Funeral service will be 10:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Mr. Todd Bittle and Mr. Harley Sisson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
