Blevins school board filings

BLEVINS – There will be at least four new members for the Blevins School Board after the September 19, election.

According to the Hempstead County Clerk’s Office, only one incumbent is seeking reelection to the board, and that is Laura Clark from Zone 6. Clark is being challenged by Jeanie Spicer Gorham for the position.

In Zone 1, Andrew Blake Simmons is the only candidate, while Cindy Inlow Parks is running solo for Zone 2. Chandra Dixon will fill the seat in Zone 3 while Janet Bannister will be the new board member for Zone 5.
