Mr.Bill Martin

Mr. Bill Martin, age 85 of Guernsey, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas.  Mr. Martin was born in Hope, Arkansas on June 9, 1932 to Ezekiel Parks Martin and Eunice Mae Gilbert Martin.  Bill was of the Christian Faith, an U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, and a retired Policeman with the City of Hope. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ezekiel Parks and Eunice Mae Gilbert Martin, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bobbie Hopson Martin of Guernsey,

his two sons; Glendon Martin and his wife, Laurie of Gentry, AR, and Gary Martin, and his wife, Debbie of Guernsey, six grandchildren: Cody Martin, wife, Jenifer, Clint Martin, wife, Britani, Jill McGhee, husband, Adam, Travis McQuiston, Ashley Gurley, husband, Brandon, and Jennifer Ghormley, husband, Chris and thirteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm on BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main.

Funeral service is Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00pm at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry T. Crane and Bro. Charles Jones officiating.
