Mr. Cecil Jester

Mr. Cecil Edward Jester, 80, of Houston, Texas, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Cecil was born February 25, 1937 in Patmos, AR to Clarence Richard “C.R.” Jester and Sally Easterling Jester. Cecil retired as an electrician with tenures at both Cameron Iron Works and Cy-Fair ISD. He was an avid sportsman with golf being his greatest passion.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence R. “C.R.” and Sally Easterling Jester, his loving wife, Carla Jester, daughter, Cindy Norwood, and sister, Gladine Mustafo.

 

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Jester of Spring, TX; daughter-in-law, Sherin Jester; daughter, Emelie-Ann Black of Austin, TX; three grandchildren; Jason Marshall, Nick Schiffer and Tasha Blaine all of Dallas, TX; and cousin, Clinton Hatch of Hope, AR.

 

Visitation for Mr. Jester is 12:30pm till service time of 2:00pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main, Hope.

 

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, AR. Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland will officiate the service.
