HOPE- There was an amazing turnout at Hempstead Hall last night, August 4 for Clint Black.
Mr. Black has written and released more then 100 songs creating 12 albums that combined have had the total of 20 million copies sold world wide. He has received awards and special recognition such as, Country Music Association Horizon Award, Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year, American Music Awards Favorite New Male Country Artist, Academy of Country Music Best New Male Vocalist, Academy of Country Music Best Male Vocalist, Academy of Country Music Album of the Year (Killin’ Time), and Academy of Country Music Single of the Year (“A Better Man”).

Jason Helms kicked the night off by playing some of his songs, including “My Kind of Women” in which he wrote but was recorded by Craig Morgan. Meet and Greet with Clint Black took place before hand, ticket winners from radio stations like 101.7 Hot FM and other winners such as those from UAHT. During the show there were concession for the concert goers to enjoy soft drinks, water, and candy bars. When Clint Black took the stage the stage, everyone in the audience cheered. He played multiple songs including the crowd favorite “Killin’ Time”. Concert goers of all ages were attended and the young as well as those who have been watching Black from when he first got his start in the music industry. The young sang and danced in their cowboy boots and sat on their parents shoulders He ended the night with the crowd standing and signing along with him.
