HCSO enters deal with ADTH for trash pickup

HOPE – The Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office has entered into an agreement with the Arkansas Department of Transportation for inmates to pick-up litter along state highways. The ARDOT pays the county two dollars an hour for each inmate that works. The inmates will also be used on county roads to pick-up trash.
