Hope Farmers Market

HOPE- The Hope Farmers Market continued on Tuesday August 15th under cool, cloudy skies. The market is still drawing some great fresh produce including cantaloupes from Ron Brown. Tomatoes and okra appeared to be very popular and there were plenty of the baked goods, meat items, and handmade soap. The giveaway basket featured some wonderful fresh produce and a lovely watermelon. The market is held each Tuesday from 7am until 11am at Third and Elm. Market manager Jodi Coffee says she hopes there will be interest in a fall market this year as well.
