Mr. Gaylon Wilson

Mr. Gaylon Wilson, age 81 of McCaskill, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Hope, Arkansas.  He was born in Prescott, AR. On December 7, 1935, to Gladys Marie Brown and Thomas Frank Wilson.  Mr. Gaylon was retired from Meyers Bakery, of Hope, with 40 years of service; was an Air Force Veteran of 4 years; a member of Central Baptist Church; served the Hope FFA Chapter as their pickup man for over 30 years. He loved horseback riding, wagon riding, and was an avid bull riding fan, Dallas Cowboy fan and Arkansas Razorback fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Cameron Paul Wilson.

HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE:  His Wife of 28 years: Lois Hawthorne Wilson, of McCaskill, AR.; Two Sons:  Danny Wilson and wife, Cherrie, Prescott, AR and Tommy Wilson, Little Rock, AR.;  Three Daughters:  Tammy Wilson Brown and husband, Dr. Alan Brown, of Berryville, AR., Shelly Wilson and husband, Kevin, Hope, AR.,  Betsi Stewart and husband, Monty, Bodcaw, AR.;  One Brother:  Jerry Wilson and wife, Dorothy, Prescott, AR.;  Two Sisters:  Polly May, Houston, TX., and Patsy Womble and husband, Bill, Prescott, AR.; and Eleven Grandchildren and Eleven Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. , Friday, August 18, 2017, at Brazzel/Cornish Chapel, Prescott, AR.,  with Dr. Alan Brown officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Prescott, AR.
