Weighted Average Report for Thursday Sep 14, 2017

 

Cattle Receipts: 1495         Last week: 1032           Last year: 795

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 550 lbs 2.00-5.00 lower, over 550

lbs steady. Feeder heifers steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter

bulls 2.00-3.00 lower.

Supply included 793 feeder calves; 475 yearlings; 25 replacement cows; 187

slaughter cows; 15 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 39 percent

English and English crosses; 41 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 20 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 60 percent steers and

bulls; 40 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
