A Glimpse into the Life of Shelia Ann Phillips-West

 

She was born to the late Ola Mae Dennis and Vernon Phillips on December 22, 1966 in Hope, AR. She united with Rising Star Baptist church at an early age. Shelia was a graduate of Hope High School, and a member of the Class of 1985. She enjoyed playing softball and spending time with her family and friends. Through the years, she was an employee of Hudson Foods (Tyson), Poulan (Husquvarna), Klipsh, and her last place of employment before her health began to fail was Heather Manor Nursing Home.

On Friday September 15, 2017, she passed from time into eternity and is now added to her great and blessed family in the world beyond our vision.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Rory Johnson, and one sister Cynthia Dennis.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters Nykeesha Phillips and Shiniya Bradford; one son Dean Cage Jr.; one grandson Danyel Jones; three sisters Deborah (Daryl) Holyfield of Texarkana, AR, Glenda Prater of Hope, AR, Bridget Bailey of LaGrange, KY; one brother Stevie (Victoria) Johnson of Hope, AR; four Special friends John Mike Phillips, Bonita Simpson, Tommie Shanklin, Elessia Scott; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends.

 

Visitation for Mrs. Phillips-West will be 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at M&H Funeral Enterprises | 411 S Walnut St. Hope, AR 71801.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 @ 2:00 pm, Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church | 1002 East Beech St. Hope, AR | Rev.
