Ag Science Day

HOPE- Tuesday October 3rd and Wednesday October 4th have been designated “Ag Science Day” at the Southwest Research and Extension Center. Tuesday five classes of Clinton Primary 4th graders, approximately 105 students, spent the day going to different stations learning about nutrition. electricity, timber, entomology, nematodes, and animals. The Farm Bureau provided a combine simulator and there was a petting zoo as well. Those attending also got to make their own fruit smoothie pedaling a specially designed stationary bicycle. The youngsters were to also have a hayride and lunch sponsored by Tyson. Three Clinton Primary and one class of Garrett Memorial Christian School 4th graders will enjoy Ag Science Day on Wednesday.
