Mass flu shot clinics at Hope Public Schools

HOPE – Mass flu shot clinics at Hope Public Schools campuses will be conducted during October.

The Hope High School clinic is set for Oct. 11, along with the Beryl Henry Elementary School campus. Other school clinic dates include Yerger Middle School/Headstart/ CATS campus, Oct. 9; Clinton Primary School/ABC Preschool, Oct. 10; and Hope Academy of Public Service/HPS Administration Building, Oct. 12.

Only injection vaccination will be available this year in Arkansas, and no nasal mist vaccine will be administered, according to the Arkansas Department of Health.

A public mass flu shot clinic is set for Oct. 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Hempstead Hall on the University Arkansas Hope-Texarkana campus. The Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend everyone ages six months and older receive a flu shot each year.
