Community craft/garage sale set

PRESCOTT – What was “Garage Sale Heaven on Hwy. 67” is now the Prescott-Nevada County Craft and Community Garage Sales.

This will be the second year for this bi-annual event, and will be held on Nov. 4.

At this time, vendors are wanted to participate in the county-wide event. Getting a booth or spot is simple, call either the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce or the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office at 870-887-2101.

When participants start and finish is entirely up to them, and those who contact the Chamber or EDO by Oct. 31, will get a “County Me In” sign for their yard.

Craft vendors can set up in the Potlatch Building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds at no charge. Those who want to set up displays in town can, if they get permission from the owners of any business they may be in front of. There is no cost to participate.

An information booth will be set up in Sterling Square with a list of participants, their locations and maps showing where they can be found.
