Mrs. Lucinda Medenz Smith

Mrs. Lucia “Lucy” Mendez Smith, age 38 of Emmet, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at her home. Lucy was born in Mexico on August 3, 1979 to Loureano and Antonia Torres Mendez. Lucy worked as a house-keeper for the Best Western Inns in Hope.

She is survived by four sons: Gabriel Bautista, Alan Bautista, Brent Smith and Zander Smith, two daughters: Yovana Martinez and Josilyn Martinez, her parents; Loureano and Antonia Mendez, one brother; Juan Mendez, and three sisters: Sonia Mendez, Laura Mendez and Leticia Mendez, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 until service time at Calvary Baptist Church in Hope.
