Hope Quilters Guild Quilt Show Continues Saturday, October 14th

The Hope Quilters Guild has a quilt show every two years and it is going on through Saturday October 14th at Hempstead Hall. The event features over 100 quilts displayed as well as quilt-related projects. The Quilters Guild is manning a “country store” with finished products and accessories. A number of other vendors are on hand with supplies, sewing machines, and quilting accessories. Admission is free and handmade door prizes are being given away on a regular schedule. Quilt Show Chairman Judy Heckman says the show is bigger this year than two years ago and the club almost ran out of quilt frames. The quilt show will be open Saturday 9:30am until 4pm.
The quilters guild meets the first Monday of every month at 7pm at the parish hall at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope. For info call Heckman at 703-6277.
