Holiday closings

HOPE/PRESCOTT – All city and county offices will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veteran’s Day. The exception will be the Nevada Road and Bridge Department, which will operate as usual, but be off Monday, Nov. 13. The Nevada County Courthouse will be closed.

In Hope, the trash schedule is as follows: Commercial will be picked up as normal, as will residential trash. However, Thursday’s garbage will be picked up Wednesday and Friday’s on Thursday.

The Hope Landfill will be closed on Nov. 10. There will be no rubbish picked up this week.

In Prescott, there will be no trash picked up Friday, Nov. 10. All trash routes will resume their normal schedule starting Nov. 13.
