With more than 807 programs established in Arkansas, you can become a member of the Hempstead County 4-H. 4-H Program Assistant, Nicole McRaven who has been with the Hempstead County program going on two weeks is excited to start the new 4-H season. She encourages you to sign up and join the 26 who have already registered! This program is more than just animals, with culinary, robotics, sewing, and more; this is a great program for those 5 to 19 years old. This is a great program where you can learn by doing and get new experiences along the way. Not only does 4-H  help you develop new skills, make new friends, learn responsibility, and help shape your community it can lead to scholarship opportunities in the future.  McRaven hopes to create a “home schooled” program in order to give those who are homeschooled within the county a program they can join to get social interaction with those their age.
