Mrs. Peggy J. Burdue

Mrs. Peggy J. Burdue, age 78 of Prescott, Arkansas passed Monday, December 4, 2017 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.  Mrs. Burdue was born in Prescott, Arkansas on July 12, 1939 to Cecil and Maude McGlone Plaxco. She was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and a member of Boughton Baptist Church in Boughton, Arkansas.  Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, John Burdue, her parents Cecil and Maude Plaxco and a sister Sarah Cross.

 

Survivors include, two sons Paul Roy and wife, Leona of Texarkana, AR. and Tommy Burdue of Calico Rock, AR, two daughters Carolyn Duhon and husband, Glen and Marilyn Frazier all of Beaumont, TX and sister Mary Ann Nichols of Rockport, TX, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

The Burdue Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Boughton Baptist Church.

 

A Memorial Service to honor Peggy will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:00pm in Boughton Baptist Church in Boughton, with Bro. Joey Christopher and Bro.
