DHS hosts coffee

PRESCOTT – This week’s community coffee was hosted by the Nevada County Department of Human Services.

The local DHS typically hosts a coffee in April as this is Child Abuse Awareness Month. Those attending were informed the caseload for child services in the county is the lowest it’s been in years, and several children are in foster homes.
