Possession of Controlled Substance
On April 8, at approximately 10:18 p.m., in the 3800 block of Highway 67 West Deputy Kyle Malone Arrested Trey Delvin, 21, of Hope, for speeding, no driver’s license possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a court date of June 18, at 9 a.m. Delvin was booked into the HCDF for Possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Domestic Battery Possession of Controlled Substance
On Sunday, April 8, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Deputy Reyn Brown received a call from the police dispatcher in reference to domestic disturbance, located at 7783 Highway 278 W, in Nashville, Hempstead County.
Upon arrival he met with Shadow Allmon who stated the following: his wife, Michelle Allmon has been diagnosed with being bipolar. He stated Michelle had an episode on 4/7/2018 and got into an argument with him. He stated during the argument Michelle hit and scratched him.
Shadow stated he loved Michelle and did not want her to get in trouble, so he did not report it to the police. Shadow stated on April 8, just before noon he and his wife got into it again. He stated she tore his shirt and stabbed him in the right arm and left side with a set of keys. Shadow stated Michelle grabbed him around the neck at one point and made comments that she was going to kill their two-year-old child. Shadow stated she got into their blue Ford F-150 and left the residence. Shadow was not sure where she went.
Deputy Brown observed Shadow’s shirt was torn, scratches on his neck, had fresh marks on his right arm and side where it looked like he was stabbed with some type of object. It broke the skin causing the areas to bleed.
Deputy Brown located the vehicle at 1513 Hempstead 37. and made contact with Michelle who was sitting inside the vehicle. Deputy advised her she was being placed under arrest for domestic battery 3rd.
During the search of her person Deputy Brown located a glass pipe commonly used for consuming methamphetamine in her right pants pocket. Deputy Brown asked her if she had anything else illegal on her person and she stated she had some weed in her bra. Michelle took a clear baggie containing marijuana out of her bra and gave it to Deputy Brown.
During the search of the vehicle, Deputy Brown located a light bulb with a bottle cap on the end and a straw going through it. which is commonly used for consuming methamphetamine.
Michelle was transported to the HCDF where she was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and domestic battery 3rd. Michelle was turned over to the on duty jail staff for booking process. She will be held for 1st court appearance.
D.W.I. 5th Offense
On April 8, at approximately 8:56 p.m., Deputy Orlando Dennis was traveling westbound on Hwy 278 West when a grey Chevy Impala that was at the stop sign of Hempstead 44, pulled out onto Hwy 278 West crossing the center line into my lane of traffic nearly hitting him head on, him to drive into the ditch.
Deputy Dennis turned around and stopped the vehicle just pass Hempstead 44. As Deputy Dennis approached the passenger side of the vehicle, and made contact with Driver Donald Nelson, front passenger Darwin Walker, and back seat passenger Rangy Taylor. Deputy Dennis could smell a strong odor of intoxicant that he associated with an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle.
Deputy Dennis arrested Nelson for 5th offense DWI a (felony), driving left of center, driving on suspended license for DWI, no proof of insurance, refusal to submit to BAC, and drinking on the highway, he was transported to HCDF and held for his first court appearance.
Deputy Malone was outside of the vehicle with Darwin Walker and Rangy Taylor, Deputy Dennis made contact with them and observed they also had been drinking. Deputy Dennis smelled a strong odor of intoxicant that associate with an alcoholic beverage coming from both subjects as they spoke.
Darwin Walker and Rangy Taylor were cited for drinking on the highway and Rangy for drinking on the highway and given a court date.
Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphilia
On Saturday, April 7, Deputy Brown observed a white 1999 Chevrolet commit the traffic violation of expire vehicle tags, in the 1100 block of Edgewood Street, in Hope, Hempstead County.
Deputy Brown activated his emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop on the above vehicle. Brown identified the driver of the vehicle as James Clift. Deputy Brown knew Clift was on parole and it was confirmed that he had valid warrantless search waiver on file. Deputy Brown conducted a search on Clift and located a hypodermic syringe commonly used for injecting narcotics in the body in his jacket pocket. He was placed under arrest. Clift then admitted he had some marijuana in his pants.
Clift was transported to the HCDF where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance (marijuana) and expired vehicle tags. Clift is being held for 1st court appearance.
