Paula Johnson

Beloved Paula Johnson was born August 10th, 1979 in Hope, Arkansas to Eloise and Lewis Lowe. She was the youngest of four children and accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age. She was a proud choir member of Clevet Springs choir and was often found singing a trio with her two sisters. She graduated from Stamps High School in 1997, where soon after she joined the United States Army Reserve. She served her country proudly before being Honorably Discharged in 2005. She continued her education by earning her Associate’s Degree in Business from Southern Arkansas University and then she received her certificate in medical billing and coding from DeVry University in 2016.
She met Frederick Johnson, Jr. in year 2000 and they married in Hope, Arkansas in May 2008. They share two beautiful daughters, Taya Anise age 12 and Addison Bailey age 6. Paula was known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, gentle spirit and willingness to help others. She enjoyed many things such as singing in the choir, shopping, and spending time with her children, family, and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Eloise and Lewis Lowe of Buckner, AR, her only brother, Kenneth Lowe (Jennifer) of Hope, two sisters Stacy Atkins (Kenny) of Texarkana, AR and LaTonya Bradley (Michael) of Hope, AR and grandmother Georgia Weaver. She also had a host of other relatives, classmates, and friends.
Her wake will be 5-7pm Friday at the funeral home.  She will lie in state one prior to services Saturday.  Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, May 6 at Lonoke Baptist Church, 702 S. Hazel, Hope.  Burial will be at Clevet Springs Cemetery in Stephens. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
