Ribbon cutting at Emmet business

EMMET – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Williams Storage in Emmet Tuesday morning.

The business is owned by Kevin Williams, who said the storage units were in bad shape when he bought the business, but have been cleaned up with a fence erected around the property. The storage area also has video surveillance. Units, he said are 10×10 and 5×10 feet. The cost is $45 a month for a 10×10 and $30 monthly for a 5×10 unit. The gate is left locked, but paying customers have the combination and can come and go as they please. In all, he said, there are 56 units, with about 30 being 10×10 and the rest 5×10.
