Annie “Maude” Hinton

Annie “Maude” Hinton, 82, of Prescott, AR passed away in Hot Springs, AR, Saturday, May 20, 2017, after her battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s.

Mrs. Hinton was born July 31, 1934 in Dallas County, AR to G.P. and Gracie Mae Delamar Ratcliff.

She was a retired caterer, a member of Central Baptist Church of Prescott.  She loved her family and grandchildren very much.  She was a generous, giving, and loving sweet soul.  She prided herself in her ability to feed her family and those in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister in law Sue Ratcliff, husband Herbie Hinton, and two step daughters Regina and Lynn Hinton.

Left with all those precious memories are her two daughters: Becky Hooker (Ronnie) of Hot Springs, Grace Ann Leamons (Duane) of Arkadelphia; one son Blake McKinnon of Prescott; step-son Bubba Hinton (Amy) of Memphis, TN; brother John Ratcliff of Prescott; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and the many lives that she

touched over the years.

Visitation for Mrs. Hinton will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, May 22, 2017, at Pharr Funeral Home in Prescott.  Funeral services will be

1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Pharr Funeral Home with Bro. Neal

Ridling officiating, with interment to follow in Delamar Cemetery in Dallas County, AR.

Under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott, AR.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arkansas Hospice for their excellent compassionate care shown to Mrs. Hinton during her battle.
