Mrs. Dorothy “Dottie” Hill

Mrs. Dorothy “Dottie” Hill, age 88 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, June 3, 2017 in a local hospital.  Dottie was born in Lewisville, Arkansas on August 17, 1928 to Ferbon and Lula Higgs Beasley.  Dottie has worked many years as a food service in the restaurant business and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in the Oak Grove Community. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Victor A. Hill. Victor was born in Kansas and him and Dot had lived many years in California. She is also, preceded in death by her brothers; Thurman and Oscar Beasley, and a great-grandson, Trenton A. Lee.

Dottie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Troy W.  and Linda K. Lee of Villa Rica, Georgia, a grandson; Derrick D. Lee, his wife, Laura M. Lee of Douglasville, Georgia, two great-grandchildren; Marissa Bailey and Dakota Lee both of Douglasville, Georgia, other family member and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund.

There are no plans for a formal visitation.

Graveside service in Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove Community will be 4:00pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 with Rev. Revel Kidd officiating. Burial will follow the service.
