Hope High Graduates Receive Governor’s Honors

LITTLE ROCK – Hope High School graduates Elizabeth Smelley and her parents, Ricky and Stephanie Smelley, and Destiny Martin, and parents Angelo and Krystal Goshen, were honored by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson during the annual Governor’s Scholastic Honors Day at the Governor’s Mansion in Little Rock.

Smelley and Martin graduated in May with top honors in the HHS Class of 2017. Smelley participated in National Honor Society, HHS Student Council, Nike Club, Key Club, as HHS Yearbook editor, Girls State delegate, and as an Arkansas Senate Page member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.

Martin participated in HHS softball, HHS cheer, HHS Student Council, Nike Club, National Honor Society, Talent Search, and Phil Theta Kappa National Honor Society. – Governor’s Mansion for Hope Public Schoolsimage
