Arkansas Highway Commission Approves Bids For Hempstead County Road Improvements
By Staff, 06/15/17 1:45 PMLITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved bids for improvements to select roadways located in Hempstead County.
The first project is for resurfacing 3.5 miles of selected sections of County Road 34 near Bingen and 4.4 miles of County Road 29 near Belton.
C and F Construction Company, Inc. of Smackover was awarded the contract of the first job at $528,424.82.
The second project is to resurface 0.6 miles of County Road 278 near Oakhaven.
C and F Construction Company also was awarded the contract for this project at $264,447.20.
Work on both projects is expected to begin within two to four weeks, weather dependant.
