Car show, BBQ cook off Saturday

PRESCOTT – Prescott’s three civic clubs are working together for the Freedom Ride Car Show and BBQ Cookoff.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada County Courthouse. The entry fee for the car show is $25, as is the entry fee for the bbq and chicken entry for the cookoff. To enter a dessert and/or baked beans, the fee is $10 each. Visitors can sample the entries for $10 a plate.

The money raised from the event will be divided equally between the Prescott Lions, Prescott Kiwanis and Prescott Rotary clubs, and will be used on club projects for the community.
