Where can you find a bumble bee goat, a Razorback football playing dog and a fairy horse? Probably nowhere else but the pet costume contest at the Prescott Fall Festival and Trade Days.
There were seven entries in the festival’s first pet costume contest with Niki Morris and her Yorkie named Abby. Second place went to Kain McKinnon with his horse Sally. Third place was presented to Abigail Dougan and Nanny Girl the Bumble Bee Goat.
Other entries included Kami Gummeson and Tucker, Lilly McKinnon and Little Bit, Justin Burns and Copper and Leah McCullough and Pickels.
The winner received $30, second place $20 and third place $15.
A slight emergency was avoided when Sally the fairy horse started eating the courthouse flowers after being led from in front of the judges.
