The Prescott Curley Wolves had no trouble putting down Little Rock Episcopal Wildcats Friday night during the first round of the 3-A State Playoffs at Cummins Stadium in Prescott. The final score was 52-16 after the mercy rule was invoked at halftime.
The Wolves continue with home field advantage this week as they host the Mayflower Eagles Friday night. Mayflower beat Yellville-Summit Friday night and had a regular season conference record of 4 and 4. The Curley Wolves had only one conference loss this season to McGehee.
The game starts at 7 p.m., and as always, the Wolves can use a good home field crowd cheering them on.
