Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration Reminds Of Original Message

HOPE – A Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Monday left all with the echo of Dr. King’s message, how far we’ve come and how far we’ve still to go.

Gartett Chapel Baptist Church was host to the well attended celebration, with attendees of all races and ages. The celebration was organized by the Black Historical Society and featured speakers from several different churches and a Community Choir that totally rocked the building with their wonderful performances.
