The Prescott Police Department has announced that the new Prescription Take Back Box is open for business.
Chief Brian Russell encourages the public to bring medication for disposal to the Prescott Police Department located at 128 West Main Street. The disposal box is located on the side of the building on 2nd Street.
Chief Russell reminds the public that expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs are dangerous and need to be discarded.
The drop box was made possible with financial assistance from the Prescott Rotary Club.
