Emmer Jackson Conway, age 66, of McNab, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at a Texarkana hospital. She was born October 9, 1946 in McNab.
Mrs. Conway was a devoted member and the first lady of St. Luke Baptist Church for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Mary Jackson and a son, Rammon.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. James Conway; two sons, Edward (Marian) Herberts of Tollette and James (Kim) Conway; siblings, Glen (Ora) Jackson, Jr., Albert (Shelia) Jackson, and Shirley Cole all of McNab, Josh Jackson and Johnny (Brenda) Scott all of Fulton, AR and Larry (Marilyn) Scott of Houston, TX; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 11am-5pm Friday at the funeral home. Services will be 2:30pm Saturday, December 8, 2012 at St. Luke #2 Baptist Church, 5296 Hempstead 2, Fulton with Rev. Kenneth Thornton, officiating. Rev. James Jackson will be the eulogist. Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery in Saratoga.
