Evelyn Ann Allison Pounds

Mrs. Ann Allison Pounds, age 76 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her home. She was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas on May 20, 1940 to Thomas J. and Una Mae Cagle Allison. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prescott, Arkansas, for over 60 years, and she is a retired 3rd and 5th grade Elementary Teacher for Prescott Public Schools. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Jim Pounds.

 

Survivors include; two daughters; Allison Ingram and husband, Jim Mark of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Jami Louise Pounds of Prescott, Arkansas, a sister; Maurine Stricklin of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and her four grandchildren: Austin, Alex, Andrew and Ashley Ingram, other relatives and friends.

 

No formal visitation is planned.

 

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Pastor Sue Howe officiating.
